Technical Administrator Location : Coventry, West Midlands, CV1 4JU. Salary: £20,00 to £26,000 per annum subject to experience. Contract : Full time, permanent. The person we need in our team; This is an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join an enthusiastic team to deliver administrative support within a technical environment to a wide range of clients across the UK. Client focused and quality driven, Syscomm are a leading provider of IT Infrastructure Services who are seeking a Technical Administrator to join our friendly team to deliver administrative support within the Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment. We are looking for a talented, customer focused , quality driven individual to join our team on a full time, permanent basis at our modern offices in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with the relevant administration and technical experience to be involved in a varied and fast paced role. The Role Reporting directly to the technical director the Technical Administrator will liaise with Customers and Suppliers to build and maintain strong working relationships to manage the technical administration within the company taking responsibility for a range of tasks: • Co-ordinate and Implement elements of service delivery: o Pricing, Ordering, Configuration, Invoicing and other operational activities • Prepare Proposals, Quotations and Tender submission • Check incoming and outgoing shipments and manage asset records • Administer project installations • Prepare Customer Agreements The Candidate The successful Technical Administrator will have: • Experience or a strong interest in Information Technology • Desire to develop technical skills and progress within the company • The highest standards in customer service • Strong time management in a fast-paced environment • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail • Confident, polite and professional personality • Able to work under pressure and multitask • Flexible and adaptive approach and a 'can do’ attitude • Good Microsoft Word and Excel skills • Some experience in Sage, ERP or CRM Systems would be an advantage More about You: You are a natural problem-solver you will have a good eye for detail, strong organisational and time management skills. You are an effective communicator with an approachable personality and a confident, positive attitude as the role will require you to liaise with colleagues across the business, with customers, vendors and suppliers. You'll also need to be professional and commercially astute, committed to providing excellent service and demonstrating the desire and drive to exceed customer expectations as well as being proactive and self-motivated, able to respond flexibly to changing circumstances. You may be a Sales Support Administrator looking for a technical role with product training to prepare you for further progression into a Technical Sales Engineer, or a technician wishing to develop your technical and commercial experience to prepare you for further progression into a Technical Project Manager role.
