The Role The Relationship Manager for Business Solutions role is a critical bridge between technology leadership and Christie's business leadership and executive. Overseeing the alignment of technology deliverables against business outcomes across the CTG product teams, the relationship manager for business solutions will provide a business-centric, governance perspective to ensure that product and architecture delivery remains aligned with business expectation on timelines, benefits and outcomes. The relationship manager for business solutions will actively support the wider CTG group in maintaining balance between delivery responsiveness, quality assurance, flexibility of delivery and return on investment, ensuring the business enjoy quality deliverables which deliver against their benefits case. This role will lead business and technology governance forums and form part of the technology leadership team overseeing vendor governance and performance. This role spans all internal business facing solutions, with the main stakeholder groups will being Specialists, Operations, Finance and Christie's Business Getters. Specific duties & responsibilities will include but are not limited to Build and maintain strong relationships across business areas in Christie's through excellent communication and business knowledge Build and maintain excellent working relationships with Christie's Product Owners, Heads of Product and the Architecture group, ensuring a collaborative approach to product delivery so you proactively represent and advocate them and the products they oversee Combine your business expertise with the technical capabilities in your group to create content and reference materials to support communications, governance, business engagement and change management activities for technology products, across Christie's business Advocate for the technology solutions in your area and increase their visibility across the company through the forums/department meetings/debriefs you attend Leverage your business expertise and acumen to collaborate with your group on the development of business cases, benefits tracking, project initiation documentation and other project artefacts Lead key technology steering committees and governance forums Develop and maintain a business friendly 'plan on a page' style roadmaps for CTG and provide continuous oversite of it for the technology delivery teams within your domain Participate in 3rd party vendor governance forums to ensure there is a feedback loop to and from the business Develop content with product group members to support heads of product and product owners in presenting options and solution proposals to the business. Support the continued communication of decisions to ensure continued support for those decisions A willingness to learn about technology and participate in industry forums to develop a wider view of 'the possible' Participate in solution and leadership forums with a spirit of collaboration, transparency and constructive, professional challenge The Candidate Degree in Business Administration, Art Business or similar - MBA preferred 5 years of experience in Leadership roles, associate director or higher, in a project or governance centred role with a global focus 10 years of experience in operational, technology and project roles in a matrix management environment Previous experience in an Art Auction house, with expertise in the key client interactions, specialist interactions and marketing activities which drive the business Previous experience of participating in Specialist Department sale activities, selling the sale or consignment An understanding of workplace collaboration and engagement technologies Demonstrated experience in partnering with technology groups on projects or as a subject matter expert, on major transformations or large scale projects An understanding of the software development lifecycle and basic knowledge of delivery methodologies Demonstrated experience leading change across multiple business areas and/or geographies Experience working with geographically dispersed teams
