Overview
Spring Technology are working with one of the largest organisations within Warwickshire to recruit a Technical Security Lead to join their growing team based in Leek Wootton, this is a unique opportunity and is not one to be passed up The Role The successful candidate will be working within a very close knit team to ensure that the ICT systems, services and technology are designed, built and tested to be maintained to standards that are set by our clients governing body. You will also be on hand to provide assistance and advice to ICT based projects and other technical activities. The Responsibilities Lead on the technical security on behalf of the head of ICT. Represent our client on external ICT security matters. Contribute to Security forums and ensure that security actions are prioritised to need and expectation. Develop and maintain ICT security protocols and operational procedures. Working with the Information Security Manager to provide technical input to projects. Ensure that the organisation has effective tools and procedures in place for cyber risk detections and prevention. Develop knowledge and understanding of the complex security environment. The Requirements Experience within a similar IT security position is vital. Experience with Cyber security, Networks and Network infrastructure. Experience with SIEM. Excellent communication skills as this role requires communication to different technical level of stakeholder throughout the business. Ability to react to issues and think on your feet.
