Field Engineer - Telecoms Salary to £32k Company Vehicle O/time Hours - Set Shift rota Location : Work from home but London area Driving License and eligible for SC Clearance Environment:- Telecoms, Datacentre, Exchanges, Fibre, Cabling, Configuration, Testing, Maintenance, Transmission, Routers, mobile 4G/5G, Field Maintenance, Risk assessments, Site Records. Opportunity:- This large provider of telecoms managed services is seeking an experienced Field Maintenance Engineer to join their team. The role offers flexibility to work from home but will cover the London area as a field engineer visiting a mix of clients, datacentre, exchanges and POP sites. Day to day duties include:- 1st line troubleshooting and support on a mix of Fibre, Transmission circuits, routers, switches, servers, 4G, 5G devices Install, test and configure old and new equipment Able to perform BERT and RFC tests Card testing in Datacentre, Racking Stacking Site risk assessments Client documentation/Record keeping This role is varied and offers a great mix of engineering skills for those who like working at different customer and datacentre sites and being mobile.
