Overview

Experienced Personal Assistants/Rehabilitation Assistants/Support Workers required for an engaging young man who has a high-level spinal injury and is reliant on a ventilator. Our client lives in the Little Clacton area of Essex. Applicants must have a fun and positive attitude and also the understanding of close family values. The successful applicants will help the family manage his day to day physical needs by including him in activities such as school work social and leisure activities. The role will involve working alongside his family and therapy and support team. A full UK driving licence is desirable but not necessary, an assessment of your competency will need to be undertaken if you are asked to drive the client. Working hours: 36 hours per week which equates to 3 x 12-hour shifts, on a rotating basis, which includes days, waking nights and sleep-in nights. Our client seeks someone who is well organised and flexible. Rates of pay are dependent on experience The applicant must have up to date certificates in regard to mandatory and statutory training or be willing to undertake all mandatory and statutory training as well as bespoke training followed by comprehensive assessment of competencies.
