If so, please read on Our client is looking for an experienced Head of Fleet to join their team based in Leicestershire. In return you will receive competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum plus bonus excellent benefits . The Head of Fleet role You will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring fleet compliance with statutory and company requirements in a multi-site environment. You will lead a small team, who will be responsible for managing end to end vehicle costs to minimise cost exposure to the business through the procurement of both vehicles and associated repairs and services, maximising value to the business. What will you be responsible for as their Head of Fleet? - Managing Operating Licenses according to legislative requirements. - Ensuring a fit for purpose and legally compliant fleet at all times. - Ensuring full compliance with vehicle servicing, maintenance procedures and driving licences. - Management of third party contracts, including maintenance & damage recharges - Ensuring that fleet availability and optimisation is achieved through fluctuating periods of business activity What makes you their ideal Head of Fleet? - Hold a Certificate of Professional Competence in Road Haulage or equivalent and be a designated Transport Manager for the Company's Operator Licences - Ability to carry out procedural audits in a timely accurate manner - Proactive, good organisational Skills and be able to work on your own initiative - Good presentation and a polite, tactful and friendly character - Be able to demonstrate commercial awareness - Highly Proficient in the use of all Microsoft applications If you have the above skills and experience and want to find out more about the Head of Fleet role click ‘Apply’ now
