Overview

THE OPPORTUNITY: Macildowie are currently recruiting for a Project Coordinator working for a business based in Loughborough. This is a permanent role working Monday to Friday THE ROLE & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: To take ownership of the projects allocated and run from drawing approval stage to final commissioning and handover to service department To diligently assess the requirements of each project and co-ordinate resources including labour to complete to the satisfaction of the customer and the needs of the business. To program each project into the main installation schedule and to then monitor to ensure dates are maintained or updated appropriately to ensure that the projects are delivered and remain on time To order equipment and labour as required to ensure that deliveries and installations can proceed on time To liaise with client / builders to ensure that site requirements are fully understood so that projects can proceed in site with minimal delay To liaise with internal and external resources to ensure that delivery and site requirements are full fully understood and to ensure delivery and installation proceed with minimal delay, effectively and that deadlines are adhered to To maintain positive customer relationships to ensure the customer is always appraised of the project progression To liaise with clients / site and external resources to ensure closure of each project To be able to reorganise workforce as required if unexpected delays occur on site To possess the required level of commercial awareness to ensure the business needs of the company are met. To report on each project internally as required to advise progress and efficiency at project closure EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE: Highly motivated individual. Ability to prioritise workload. Possesses excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan time effectively Able to communicate effectively with customers and internally within the organisation. Ensure reporting deadlines are met and key information is made available to the management. Ability to work effectively within a team. Possess excellent IT skills which will allow you to maintain project information and issue to customers and contractors alike.
