Overview
We are currently looking for a Band 5 Accounts Receivable Manager to work within a NHS hospital based in Ealing, West London. The vacancy is to start ASAP and initially for 3 Months but may be extended. Please ask the team for more details. JOB DESCRIPTION Post Title: Accounts Receivable Manager Grade: Band 5 Responsible to: Financial Controller Accountable to: Director of Finance Key Relationships: Internal: Director of Finance, All finance staff, Employee Services, Trust wide Business managers, Estates & Facilities, Patient Services and Patients Bank, Medical records and Information Dept. External : Office of Paymaster General, Internal and External Auditors, VAT advisors, debt collection agencies, Trust commissioners, Solicitors and Debtors of the Trust. Job Summary: To manage the collection of the Trusts’ income ensuring that all invoices are raised in a timely manner and recorded in the Sales Leger. To manage the process of debt chasing and prepare monthly reports for review by senior management. To be responsible for the Trust Income and debtors Agreement of Balances exercise and ensure a full audit trail is maintained. To line manage the accounts receivable and treasury management teams including completion of performance development reviews and regular appraisal through 1:1 meetings.
