Overview
Sewell Wallis have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounts clerk to join a large busy team in Leeds City Centre as a cashier. This is a 9 month temporary position to help during a busy period but will be reviewed at the end of the 9 months as there is possibility for the role to turn permanent. You will need to be available to start immediately or at short notice and must have good all-round finance experience with a lot of involvement in payments. Role: Cashier Salary: up to £22,000 Location: Leeds City Centre Hours: 9.00am-5.30pm with 1 hour for lunch Your responsibilities will include: Update client accounts when required Prepare and authorise online electronic bank transfers; CHAPS/BACS Monitor and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions Query resolution Confidently communicate with stakeholders to provide relevant information as requested General accounts administration The successful candidate will either be an experienced cashier, or be an experienced accounts person who has covered payments and banking with good Excel skills.
