Overview

Asset Manager Westminster, London £35'000-£50'000 Pension holiday Do you have a background in asset management from a renewable or engineering background? Are you looking for a role with variety, development and autonomy? In this role the asset manager will have Day-to-day point of contact for all technical aspects of allocated solar farm assets, as well as regular monitoring and reporting of operational performance and other technical aspects to relevant SPV directors. The ideal candidate will have experience as an asset manager from a solar background. However, experience asset managers from other engineering background will be considered. This is a great role for an Asset Manager to join a leading renewable energy company where you will play a huge part in the company's growth and development. The role: Assisting in the preparation, agreeing and controlling of solar site operational plans and budgets along with forecasts for each operating asset to achieve its investors' business objectives Control and analyse performance of operating assets against the approved budgets, cashflow and P&L, including the detailed review and analysis of the production figures, availability, site technical performance, liquidated damages and insurance claims. Identifying operational risks to solar sites through robust operational analysis and agreeing and implementing solutions to resolve or mitigate such risks. Responsibility for contractual management of allocated SPV's incl. O&M contracts, management of disputes and contractual/insurance claims, and involvement in the negotiation of new contracts at acquisition. Reviews and validates proposed short-term and long-term contracts /strategy for existing and new assets optimising P&L over life, including management of tendering and procurement process for commercial contracts during the operational phase The person: Educated to degree level in an engineering or commercial discipline: An experienced professional with at least 4-5 years of experience and a demonstrable track record of successfully managing commercial agreements in the electricity industry and experience of setting and managing budgets. A good knowledge of the UK electricity market, including contacts with market players, experience of subsidy mechanisms and the relevant administrative processes, and clear understanding of the regulatory principles of the UK market. Deep understanding on Solar Assets Previous experience in constructing solar farms will be advantageous. The services of Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd are that of an Employment Agency.
