Junior Finance Assistant Job - Music Location: London Duration: Temporary to Permanent We are currently working with a fantastic music company that is looking for a Junior Finance Assistant for a temporary contract; that will go permanent. The role would very much suit an ambitious individual who is looking for a role where they can progress. Your main responsibility will be supporting the finance team in day-to-day operations of the department. The ideal candidate will have been in another similar finance level position, have an interest in the music industry and be proficient in Excel. This is a very exciting role for someone looking to build a full career, which would be possible with this client. Roles & Responsibilities: Coding and authorisation of invoices Processing and verification of Expenses Payment reconciliations to SAP Control level of unpaid invoices by liaising with departmental staff regarding any queries they may have on an invoice and encourage them not to delay in authorising Production cost monitoring and reconciliation Assisting Finance team in month end reporting General admin and ad-hoc projects, as required Personal Specification Would suit someone studying for an Accountancy and Finance or Business studies degree who is looking to further their career in finance Dedicated to develop a career in finance Desire to work in Music Industry Strong IT skills - Excel experience essential Proactive and able to work under own initiative Ability to work as part of team or on own Able to cope well under pressure and to manage own workload Excellent communication skills – capable of dealing with employees at all levels Please note that due to Covid-19 that this role has been temporarily placed on hold.
