Overview

Job detail Operative to undertake reactive and maintenance works to Shopping Centres / commercial office buildings / public sector buildings/properties and industrial plant. Ensuring heating, ventilation & mechanical services are maintained at all times. Having experience/expertise to diagnose faults and rectify them. Ensuring all statuatory requirements are maintained, etc. Providing support services to :– Heating / Ventilation & mechanical services Experience Previously working/ working as a heating engineer within the shopping centres /commercial/retail and industrial sectors, undertaking routine heating repairs & maintenance, conversant with small works installations and the tesing / completing of documentation. Good understanding of fault diagnosis and rectification with Health & safety awareness within the workplace. Ideally knowledge and experience in the following: - M&E Fault-finding – must be conversant and qualified to make electrical connections on mechanical equipment Small mechanical projects Control panels – PPMs and actuators BMS – Trend, Honeywell, Siemens etc. – controlling hot & colds, re-sets on boilers, fault-finding, checking plant is operational Pumps, AHUs, FCUs, filters, belts, pulleys, Pressurisation units, Condenser loops Package Details Shift working to cover the shopping centre hours – average of 40 hours to be worked over a 2 week period with some weekend working as part of the shift pattern Duty Manager rota 20 days holiday Stakeholder Pension Scheme Uniform provided All power / test equipment provided.
