Technical Sales Specialist - Chromatography Market leading organisation with great heritage and reputation Laboratory field sales role Attractive career and earning prospects THE COMPANY: Established over 30 years ago, this European force have built up an enviable reputation in the provision of chromatography consumables, laboratory testing services and training courses to a wide range of academic, R&D, industrial and manufacturing environments. They are currently seeking to recruit a suitably experienced scientific sales professional to manage and grow their business within the West Midlands and South West of England. THE ROLE: As Technical Sales Specialist, the successful candidate will be mostly managing healthy technical and commercial relationships within laboratory environments, mostly within the pharmaceutical arena with some time spent in hospitals and academia. Typical contact level will be lab managers, scientists, research teams and purchasing / procurement. There will be a healthy mix of account management and new business development. Due to the specialist technical nature of the role, candidates will preferably have a scientific sales background and a relevant Chemistry / related degree, as well as a strong working awareness of chromatography. Those who are working in a lab who are looking to move into their first sales role will also be considered. Full product training will be provided and career and earning potential is attractive.
