Overview
ROLE- Mechanical Assembly Technician / Engineer LOCATION- Near Hemel Hempstead TERM- Permanent SALARY- £22,000- £26,000 per annum (dependent on experience) My client manufactures fabricated components for different engineering sectors and they are looking to take on an Assembly Technician, on a permanent basis, near the Hemel Hempstead area. The Assembly Technician will ideally have the following attributes: Mechanical Engineering BTEC/ ONC/ HNC/ HND / Apprenticeship 3 years or more experience of working in a similar hands on mechanical fitting assembly role in an engineering fabrication/ manufacturing environment Being competent with hand tools Have the ability to meet deadlines Have the ability to detect and correct errors The Assembly Technician role will involve: Putting together fabricated assemblies Following drawings and working from instructions given Testing the built assemblies before they are shipped Setting up, arranging and also operating equipment Monitor and repair the equipment as required Work closely with other members of the engineering team If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
