Overview
Temporary Supported Housing Officer and Outreach Support Worker Required Venn Group have been approached by a support organisation in the Chester / Ellesmere Port area to recruit for a Supported Housing Officer and an Outreach Support Worker. The positions are based in Chester / Ellesmere Port and is running for 4 – 6 weeks to assist the organisation. Supported Housing Officer duties will include: Maximising income collection Maintain accurate reports relating to rent arrears and income management Provide efficient administration including completing sign ups and claims for housing benefit Proactively support customers to understand their rights and responsibilities and work closely with colleagues to resolve tenancy issues Ensure that void properties are let in a timely manner Outreach Support Worker duties will include: Walking the streets and bringing homeless people into accommodation Allocating emergency beds to service users Conducting assessments Taking referrals from other agencies The successful candidate should have: The successful candidates must have worked in similar roles previously or with a similar client base If you are interested in this position or would like to find out more about similar roles please contact Jake Simms or Samantha Marshall on and email your updated CV to .
