Overview
A very successful Oil and Gas company, based in Gt. Yarmouth, are currently seeking Mechanical Draughtsperson / Designer to join their growing workforce. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mechanical draughtsman/designer to join our client's engineering team to ensure the company meets its obligations to supply working designs and drawing packages to their manufacturing process. Job duties: Use of Solid Works in an industry environment with specific emphasis on generation of high-quality drafts from pre-designed models to pass through to manufacture. Work on a number of design concepts from mechanical installations, assemblies and weldments within Solid Works. Use of Solid Works to take instruction to create concept designs models/assemblies and turn into manufacturing drafts. As the Mechanical Draughtsperson / Designer, you will work with other designers / draughtsman in the same department as well as with the sales, projects and production teams ensuring that the product meets all necessary customer requirements. Ideally, you will have good knowledge of industrial mechanics from a design perspective, basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics may be advantageous, and come from an engineering background and experience dealing with technical designs and drawings.
