Overview
International group of companies based in Leeds currently require an experienced ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified accountant to join their business in a senior Finance Manager position. Due to recent acquisitions and exceptional organic growth this position has been created as a direct result of the company's recent success. As part of the senior management team you will oversee the full accounts production of one of the largest divisions of the group. You will produce all complex statutory accounts information highlighting and communicating key issues across senior stake holders within operations, sales and marketing. You will have direct communication with the external audit function ensuring compliance with all UKGAAP and USGAAP reporting as well as being a key contact with the banks. As your experience and skill set increases within the business you will be given the opportunity to take on more commercial projects around further acquisitions. Ideally you will be ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified with previous experience within a statutory accounting, financial accounting position or audit position. Knowledge of mergers and acquisitions would be also be advantageous although not essential providing you can demonstrate a strong technical accounting background.
