Overview
A 6 months opportunity for an IT Project Manager has arisen with the local authorities in Chester. Job Purpose: The preparation and delivery of training (remote) initially in O365 including collaboration tools - Teams The preparation and dissemination of user guides, videos, webinars etc. as required The provision of 2nd line support to users across both councils To work alongside technical delivery teams, service managers and customers to ensure effective adoption and change management is undertaken in relation to the deployment of new technologies To support both councils in delivering business change projects to fully exploit the new technologies and achieve tangible business benefits Skills and Experience: Prince 2 Practitioner. Successful delivery of government initiatives. Leading tendering and contract management experience, preferably within a Local Government setting. Extensive experience working in IT, including management experience in a technical area. Tendering and contract management experience, preferably within a Local Government setting.
