We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Senior Physiotherapist in Neurology and Neuro-Oncology to join our Physiotherapy department located at our Main Hospital in Central London, W1G 6BW. The London Clinic is one of the UK’s largest independently owned non-profit hospital, and we have been providing exceptional care since 1932. We have 8 premises, where we perform highly complex procedures as well as routine surgery & medicine. Our Physiotherapy team are present on every clinical floor throughout the hospital and provide a wide range of treatments to patients who are staying at the Clinic, as well as to those who come to us from outpatient treatment. Job Profile: We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Physiotherapist to support the management of neurological, neurosurgical and neuro-oncology patients within in- and outpatients. The role would also include the management of vestibular rehabilitation in outpatients. Job Type: This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Salary: The attractive salary for this role is for a Band 7 at £46,179 per annum. Duties & Responsibilities • Undertake comprehensive neurological assessments of patients, including those with diverse or complex presentations. Use advanced clinical reasoning skills and manual assessment techniques to provide an accurate diagnosis of their condition. • To be able to utilise highly developed therapeutic handling skills to support rehabilitation of neurological and neuro-oncology patients. Skills & Experience • BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy and HCPC. • Proven experience of working as band 6 physiotherapist with experience in neurology and neurosurgery. • Excellent communication skills. • A strong commitment to patient centered and evidence based care. The therapies team can offer development of your clinical skills through regular supervision, support for continued professional development and service development opportunities across the clinic.
