Opportunity for an experienced Power Systems Engineer with a pioneering space company based near Oxford. This is an exciting role with a rapidly growing, one of a kind company offering an excellent salary and the opportunity to work on unique projects with a highly skilled team of fellow engineers. Key duties: Lead development and design activities for Power sub-systems on spacecraft Coordinate with wider business to define ConOps, ICDS, development and verification plans Plan, prepare and conduct verification tests on system and sub-system level, including environmental testing Working with suppliers and supporting Procurement Engineers with specification, trade-off and selection of power system equipment Key Skills and Requirements: Understanding of solar panel specification, manufacture, handling and testing Experience sizing, procuring, testing and integrating satellite batteries Experience in constructing grounding philosophies diagrams for spacecraft architecture Experience supporting AIT phase of satellite with design and testing EGSE Passionate about space and making a positive contribution to the future of the space industry If you want to be part of our clients unique and exciting journey into space, to have fun and to change the future, then please apply today Contact the team at Bond Williams Recruitment in Oxford on 01865-546046 to discuss this opportunity in further detail.
