Overview
Academics are recruiting on behalf of one of our client residential SEN Schools in Lymington who are urgently seeking Residential Care Support Workers specifically to carry out night shifts within the residential home. Shifts are available from Monday-Sunday starting at 9pm - 7.30am. During the shift you will be required to stay awake, supporting students in the evening and supervise during the night. You will also be expected to carry out various cleaning and admin duties in the home. The school offers education and care for students between the ages of 7 - 19 with Asperger's Syndrome (high functioning Autism) and Complex Needs. They are looking to recruit committed, empathetic and engaging Care Support Workers that will deliver a model of positive behaviour support to empower young people to make a positive change in their lives, gain self-regulation skills and develop greater lifelong independence. Successful candidates will be part of a large supportive care team who work holistically across Care, Education and Therapeutic services supporting each others practice to deliver specialist residential educational services to those with additional and complex needs; including Autism & Asperger's. This is an on-going temporary contract with the opportunity of developing into a permanent position for the right candidate. This position is paying £9.20 per hour.
