Test Engineer Edinburgh Initial 6 month contract or Permanent Advantage Resourcing is currently recruiting for a Test Engineer to work with our prestigious client at their facility in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an effective support service to the various users of Test Equipment, alongside delivering a proactive service to customers and maximising test equipment availability. This role requires experience or knowledge in one or some of the following areas; Radar Systems, Lasers, Electro-Optics, Complex Electronic Systems, Special to Type Test Equipment Responsibilities: Testing to agreed timescales and budget. Liaison with customers to provide on-site and remote engineering solutions. Experience of preparing material for peer reviews and design reviews Utilising asset management software to plan, schedule and manage weekly/daily workloads. Experience required: Ability to provide technical leadership, guidance and mentoring as necessary. Ideally have working experience in a Manufacturing or Lab Environment, engaged in maintenance of general purpose and special-to-type test equipment. Experience of debugging and fault finding, complex electronic systems is required.
