Our global team of industry experts provide practical regulatory advice; they work in partnership with clients to discover solutions and deliver these to the highest industry standards. We are looking for a new team member to join our team, initially based in our Chancery Lane office, but we are flexible for home working too Main Purpose of Role To assist the HR Manager in providing a comprehensive HR administration service but with flexibility to provide admin support to the Senior Leadership Team in any quiet periods. Key Accountabilities Starter / leaver processes including all documentation and induction processes Maintain and update electronic personnel record systems containing all employment-related information including absence, holidays, starters and leavers, benefits and salary information Administration support for the engagement of contractors Prepare all letters or contracts for any changes to employee terms and conditions To provide administrative support to the recruitment and onboarding processes To create a monthly spreadsheet of all relevant changes to be sent to Payroll To respond to general queries from managers and employees, signposting them to the appropriate policies and procedures To maintain appropriate confidentiality of information relating to the Company and its staff and maintain compliance with the Data Protection Act Skills and Experience Good general education with minimum GCSE C or equivalent in English and Maths Previous experience of HR administration Excellent verbal, written and numeracy skills Excellent organisational skills including ability to manage time and prioritise effectively Strong IT skills, skilled in using Microsoft Word and Excel packages and experienced in working with HR packages / databases Able to work independently and on own initiative within specified guidelines or processes Well-developed interpersonal skills and able to deal with colleagues at all levels Able to work appropriately with confidential and sensitive information Please send your CV and a detailed covering letter explaining why you’re a good fit
