Product Manager Wolverhampton £50,000 - £60,000 Our client is a prestigious Wolverhampton based manufacturing and distribution business, looking to recruit an experienced Product Manager to join them on a permanent basis. This role involves mechanical and decorative finishes, so experience of styling, different finishes and current / future trends is important. The successful candidate will take full ownership of a designated portfolio of products, ensuring they are commercially successful and managing the full product lifecycle. Responsibilities: Interpret market research and identify new product ideas, liaising with sales, marketing and design colleagues where necessary Champion new product ideas and be readily available for colleagues to discuss ideas and encourage product development Maintain an up to date knowledge of developments within your sector Convert new product ideas into proposals, using your knowledge to monitor cost, pricing etc Support the product development process ensuring it is completed in a time and cost effective manner whilst maintaining excellent quality standards Utilise knowledge garnered from previous projects, both successful and unsuccessful Share expertise across departments, ensuring best practice Understand the needs of customers and balance them against the needs of the business Conduct product portfolio reviews Create product development strategies Skills & Experience: NPD and Sourcing experience is essential (70/30 split) Strategic and analytical Ideally Prince 2 qualified Experience of managing a product portfolio as well as product lifecycle By sending your CV in response to this advert, you are giving us consent to contact you to discuss your application as per our privacy policy statement.
