Overview

We are one of the largest specialist mental health and learning disabilities trusts in the country, with an annual income of £320m and a workforce of some 6,700 staff operating from around 100 sites in Durham, Teesside, North Yorkshire and York and Selby. We are looking for band 5 Registered Health Professionasl (Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist) to join the Harrogate Integrated Community Team. The post will help develop your skills in a community setting, based in the beautiful spa town of Harrogate. The team covers a rural area and therefore it is essential that applicants are able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes. If necessary, adjustments can be considered in accordance with the Equality Act 2010. The team is welcoming and thrives on supporting each other, being personable, whilst still maintaining their professionalism. We enjoy two away days each year to reflect and problem solve as a team, as well as having regular team building activities. Wellbeing is very important to us and we welcome applications from people who want to make a difference and involve service users in their care and recovery. You will be working with a caseload of service users, carrying out assessments and working in collaboration to support them in their recovery. This involves providing treatment utilising evidence-based psychological interventions for people with severe and enduring mental health problems. There will be opportunities for preceptorship for newly qualified staff applying for the post. Internal and external training opportunities are available. An interest in physical health monitoring is preferential.
