A rapidly growing FCA regulated financial services organisation are looking for a Compliance Officer or Manager to support operations across the group. With new investment secured, they are in a unique position to broaden their service offering and are expanding their teams. The new compliance hire will act as part of a dynamic team to deliver a best in class consumer finance service. You'll need to be a self-starter with a background in compliance and risk monitoring, confident working closely with senior leadership to positively influence commercial decisions. Responsibilities: Support the development of the compliance monitoring programme Ensure the implementation of Compliance and Risk policies, procedures, manuals, and programmes to reflect best practice and regulatory and industry requirements Provide advice to senior management and the business on compliance and risk issues as well as regulatory trends Act as a central point of contact for Compliance issues, ensuring that any problems are dealt with appropriately Highlight risks & provide solutions to mitigate challenges were appropriate Knowledge/Experience: Previous experience of working in a compliance role with good knowledge of the FCA handbook relevant to a Consumer Credit lender Consumer-focused and motivated by positive customer outcomes Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills to deal with regulatory bodies and Strategic Partners Industry qualifications such as ICA or ACAMS preferable but not essential This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89937061
