TRADEMARK SECRETARY SOUGHT FOR A GLOBAL CITY LAW FIRM Within this role, you will be responsible for supporting a mixture of Partners, Associates, Trainees and other legal professionals. This is an extremely client centric role and requires someone who has excellent attention to detail with the ability to provide seamless organisation to those around them. The firm are investors in their people and provide constant training and development to those employed. Upon joining the firm you will undergo a structured induction programme alongside constant training and development on the job. Specific duties will include; Court bundling, indexing, general organisation of fee-earners Client liaison, client meet and greets etc Prepare letters of engagement/assignment, initial client documentation, partake in conflict checks, money laundering checks and other duties as directed by fee-earners Document Production – consisting of document amends etc. and ensuring documents are proof-read and checked for errors before returning back to the relevant fee earner. To undertake general filing administration, liaising with Filing Administrator as appropriate To pro-actively manage diaries, arrange meetings Inbox management, actioning urgent e-mails as necessary Arranging travel (visas, flights, hotels, dinners) To work as part of a team with other support staff for the Department – providing a professional response to issues To maintain CRM by updating InterAction and maintaining fee earner contact list To support Marketing and BD administration To support billing processes and timesheets To support less experienced members of the team Producing Trade Mark Diaries, Ordering Trade Mark Searches on various platforms (SAGIS, Coresearch, Inspiro, Avantiq), Assisting with Trade Mark Diary reviews, Creating and maintaining GIPM Records and Liaising with notaries
