Overview
A national Manchester-based firm who is one of the fastest-growing firms within their practice sectors is seeking a senior care solicitor. The firm has offices nationwide and is looking to expand its services in line with targeted growth in its core services. As a senior care solicitor, you will be joining as a senior member of the childcare department to build and develop your team moving forward. Also, you will handle your caseload of care matters, therefore, a proven track record and panel accreditation are essential. You must be a qualified care solicitor with at least 5 years' PQE and be an existing Children's Panel Member, ideally with existing local contacts. You will have an outstanding knowledge of care orders, supervision orders, emergency protection, special guardianship orders, child protection reviews and child arrangement orders. Also, you will have represented parents, grandparents, other family members and children directly or through their court-appointed Children’s Guardian. This role will see you manage and grow your team, therefore supervisory or management experience would be a distinct advantage.
