Overview
Highly acquisitive and rapidly expanding client with a varied portfolio of businesses in the group are looking to appoint a high calibre senior finance professional. This is a newly created position. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will lead the operational finance & financial reporting teams and produce key budgets for a large number of different businesses. You will produce the group consolidations, review all tax and audit matters and ensure that newly acquired businesses are integrated efficiently and effectively into the existing group structure. The client anticipates that you will step up to become Finance Director during busy periods. The successful candidate must be 'hands-on,’ details orientated with strong leadership and communication skills. You will be accustomed to dealing with a wide variety of key stakeholders (OMBs) and well versed when providing a high level of commercial and financial support to the CFO and executive board. An understanding of the dealmaking process and debt finance (facilities) is of distinct advantage.
