Health and Social care workers are now classed as "key workers" so this role will allow your children a place in school or nursery to help with your childcare whilst at work. Support Worker / Carer / Health Care Assistant Shifts 8am - 8pm day shift, and 8pm - 8am night shifts. Hours 24, 36, 42 or 48 hours per week available Kingfisher View, Castleford are looking for experienced carers to support our new home which opened in April 2019 You can apply to join our team with no experience or qualifications, and we will help you work towards your NVQ level 2 and 3 in health and social care, which offer wage increases as you learn. Standard rate - £8.21 - £8.31 after 12 weeks service. Refer a friend scheme - up to £1500 per referral Key duties: Provide a high level of personal, physical and emotional care Provide personal care such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and on occasion, assisting with meal times Promote independence, dignity, respect, and choice across service users Support social and recreational activities; both in and out the home individually, or as part of a group Maintain care records; recording observations, activities, and assessments On occasion, welcome and train new members of your care team Requirements : Drive and passion to make every day better Flexibility to work days and nights on rotation Desirable but not essential Experience in mental health care Experience with Austim NVQ qualifications in Health and Social Care.
