Company Description Overview Specialist role Business analyst Summary of the work Business Intelligence Reporting delivery and mentoring specialist with business intelligence, NHS, and Microsoft experience in a collaborative and iterative environment required, to ensure delivery of product to business user satisfaction via provision of coaching including hands on work to Trust Performance and Information staff. Latest start date 8th August 2016 Expected contract length 3-4 months for 60 days actual billable work; work must be concluded by end of October 2016. Region Yorkshire and the Humber Organisation the work is for South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust Job Description About the work Who the specialist will work with The existing team is made up from in-house Performance and Information staff with some agency support. What the specialist will work on The trust is introducing formal business intelligence as a new way of delivering Performance and Information. The Trust is currently implementing several Releases including Acute Pathway and Incident Analytics from Datix. The required outcome is to ensure the delivery of all required reporting before the end of Calendar 2016, and to coach and mentor existing staff such that they become conversant with the methodology and technologies being employed. The methodology is Evolutionary Development Methodology, a highly collaborative and iterative methodology. The technology is the Microsoft toolset including SQL Server and SharePoint. Urgent prioritises have reduced internal staff availability. Work setup Address where the work will take place The primary work place is in Castleford, West Yorkshire. Additionaly, business users are in Huddersfield, Halifax, Wakefield, and Barnsley.
