Insurance Claims Officer - Epping - Start ASAP - 6 month contract - £17-22 per hour holiday pay Your new company You will be working for a company in Epping that has gone through a significant period of change and is now modernised and working much more effectively. This role is initially for 6 months but there is a possibility it will either be extended or lead to a permanent position. The job has come available due to someone leaving who had been with the organisation for a long period of time. You will report to a manager who is responsible for multiple teams, therefore you will need to take full responsibility for your own work from start-to-finish. Your new role As the in-house insurance officer, you will be responsible for managing the businesses day-to-day claims that come in from internal and external stakeholders. Your duties will include: Speaking to Zurich regarding claims on a daily basis Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to gather information required for a claims Managing policy, claims and premiums in line with company policy Ensure customer service and delivery of service is high quality and punctual Utilise technology to keep effective and up to date records Identify areas for improvement and implement change where required Update and maintain the risk register What you'll need to succeed You will need to have experience of handling insurance claims and be immediately available to start work. Due to the current Covid-19 situation you will need to be flexible in your work location and maybe required to work from home. What you'll get in return You will get paid £18-£22 per hour plus holiday pay. You will be paid weekly and there are flexible working options available which include flexibility over start time (within core business hours) and hours worked per day. You will get an immediate start and you will be able to work from home on occasions. The business is following guidance from the government in relation to Covid-19.
