Overview
Our client is an international law firm and they are looking to recruit a paralegal to join their real estate team in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity to join an award-winning law firm. In this role, the successful candidate will be: Managing a busy caseload of transactions, for example dealing with licences to assign, licences for alterations, deeds of variation, deeds of easement and drafting letters to clients and other parties. Dealing with leases, identifying defects and preparing a new modern form of leases, based on standard forms. Assisting with file opening procedures including preparing the first draft of retainer letters and ensuring compliance with money laundering regulations Interested candidates must have a strong academic background including a degree (2.1 or equivalent) in law or equivalent qualification. Legal experience gained within a commercial real estate department is preferred.
