Overview
One of my best clients has tasked us with finding a stable, experienced Bookkeeper with a great background in Practice. They are a long-established, prestigious accountancy practice in the heart of London with great transport links that provide high-quality accounting services, planning and advice to a large and varied portfolio of clients focussing on SMEs and high-net worth individuals (HNWI). They have over 45 staff, 6 Partners and are one of the area’s most well-established firms. They have entrusted us with finding them a new Experienced Practice Bookkeeper to join their growing team. To have the ideal profile for this Experienced Bookkeeper role, you will be thorough, detail-orientated and have great communication skills. You will have experience of working in an accounting practice and are comfortable with the following: Month end journals Maintain sales and purchase ledgers Registering and handling Payroll, including CIS and other aspects Proficient in a spectrum of Bookkeeping aspects such as balance sheet calculations, profit and loss statements, trial balance Preparation and review of VAT returns: Capital Goods Scheme, partial exemption o Monthly, quarterly and yearly basis Team player and strong work ethic This is a great opportunity for advancement because as the team’s new ExperiencedBookkeeper you will also be: Working with a wide variety of clients who are sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, including those with an international presence, property groups, media, IT, catering groups and start-ups Liaising regularly with Senior Management Client facing About you: Experience with the major accounting systems and Excel You will have at least 1-2 years of experience in an Accountancy Practice Experienced Bookkeeper (Practice) Victoria £28,000-£36,000 depending on experience plus great benefits package including health cover, pension and flexitime
