Job description: Essential Responsibilities • To provide pre-tender contract negotiation advice and support for commercial responsible persons. • To liaise with company senior legal councilor on critical contract topics. Specialist in negotiating and completing contracts. • To review and comment on contract documentation submitted to GE as part of the tender Process. • To maintain master copies of subcontractor agreements, and liaise with the central sourcing team for sub-contract discussions and changes/ clarifications. • To be actively involved in the SLA negotiation and management process, of both contracts and subcontracts. • To attend contract meetings with customer and effectively manage customer contract issues, requests for CCN and manage the action logs. • To write up CCN’s to meet both Customer and GE requirements and timescales • To provide advice for Sales / Service on drafting for CCN’s as required • To improve process of reviewing new deals prior tender response submission based on current Delegation of Authority (DOA) and Company Policies in close cooperation with company controllership. • To facilitate the deal review process to identify any legal risks and mitigations. • To manage 3rd party partners and their contracts and maintain a database of contract renewals • To be able to draw up templates for standard contracts and maintain the library of such contracts • Be able to work with framework providers like NH S supply chain and understand the process is in which contracts need to be supplied • Must be able to work with the wider team e.g service directors legal commercial and finance be able to be able to draw up their appropriate contracts • Must be able to facilitate a bid process and organised responsibilities to individuals and proofread any response is in line with contract management • Must be able to review existing contracts and identify any key risks and exposure and report on these when required Required profile: Role Summary/Purpose The Customer Contract Specialist will take care of writing contracts, changes addendum for contracts and ensuring we are safe and secured with our UK and Northern Europe specific contracts. You will be part of a strong Healthcare Digital team. Qualifications/Requirements • Technical expertise in contract and subcontract management • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear/concise manner. • Organisational skills and negotiating skills. • Team working skills (incl. ability to harness resources to achieve goal). • Knowledge of market place. • Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint Appreciation of business environment. • Integrity: accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions and when dealing with others • Geographical Mobile as occasional site meetings are required Desired Characteristics • Contract management • Understanding of UK Government Frameworks, OJEC and Negotiated Procedures • Knowledge of healthcare environment preferable Ability to multitask and being resourceful. • Adaptable/Flexible: being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances. • Clear thinking/problem solving, able to quickly grasp new ideas What we offer: GE (NYSE:GE) drives the world forward by tackling its biggest challenges.
