I have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Solutions Engineer or a Mechanical Design Engineer now looking to move to a more sales/estimating role. The Technical Solutions Engineer will be supporting the Sales team within the Automation & Materials Handling Side of the business. The Opportunity You will be working alongside the sales team generating new business opportunities through the development of customer specified product concepts and quotations. The Technical Solutions Engineer will be expected to complete tasks assigned to him/her. You will gain design experience using our CAD software to develop concepts and simulations for customers. What's needed for me to be considered? Has expertise in the use of 3D CAD design software (Solidworks experience is an advantage). Ideally a degree qualified in an engineer subject or equivalent apprenticeship. Design engineer who wants to move to a sales/estimating role. What next?
