About the roleThis is a 23 months fixed term contract. We are looking for a Digital Learning Developer to join the Global Assurance Quality - Learning and Education (GAQ - L&E) team, based in London. The successful candidate will report into the GAQ - L&E Production Manager. While the successful candidate does not need to have prior digital learning development or project management experience, they should have an interest in developing skills in these areas, and a strong interest and aptitude for technology.Key aspects of the role include Development of digital learning solutions Building and updating elearns and assessments using various authoring tools Reviewing build documentation to ensure it meets requirements prior to commencing build and proactively escalating if not Creating and / or editing multimedia assets Creating and editing graphics Recording and editing audio Editing and publishing videos Creating animations Performing quality control procedures Critically self-reviewing own work to correct any errors Spot-checking work of peers and provide them with comments Testing elearns and assessments Suggesting improvements to internal processes and documentation Process co-ordination / Project management Managing own time and workload and proactively escalating any issues Project managing the development stage of digital learning and assessment solutions Organising video shoots Communicating with team members and stakeholders throughout Ensuring all project files are saved in the correct locations ​Coaching / Guidance Investigating new tools and features and functionality in existing tools Training / providing ad hoc support to team members on tools and processes Acting as super user for assigned tools Creating guidance on tools and processes ​Consultation Provide consultation to design team on tool capabilities Building prototypes using various tools ​Key skills expected in the role include Ability to learn and effectively use a range of tools GOMO, Lectora, Storyline, QMP, Adobe Captivate, Premiere, Audacity, and GoAnimate Aptitude for technology and ability to autonomously learn new tools quickly Ability to follow processes and work to timelines Strong communication skills Highly organised Strong attention to detail Ability to work quickly and under pressure ​Key behaviours expected in the role include Proactive Uses initiative Resilient Flexible in the face of changes Quick learner Enjoys working with technology Ability to work collaboratively with other team members Be open minded Caring and respectful behaviour towards others The skills we look for in future employeesAll our people need to demonstrate the skills and behaviours that support us in delivering our business strategy.
