Overview
Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Travel Manager to join their organisation. Leading a team of Travel Coordinators the successful post holder will have strategic responsibility for policy development, management and communication globally. Reporting to the CFO, the Global Travel Manager will support to develop, implement and maintain a global travel strategy aiming to provide a high service, good comfort and low cost by working with the company's travel team and external providers. Applicants should have a strong proven track record in team management and international business travel management. Main responsibilities Defining and monitoring the company's global travel and service requirements Strong leadership for all travel operations, policy creation and management Management of TMC's, health & security provider and other 3rd party suppliers such as airlines, hotel, planned improvement for efficiency and ownership for all travel initiatives. Compliance and communication of all policies and requirements of the company's working with the TMC's to achieve these Setting realistic plans to drive efficiency and standardisation Lead communicator between senior business stakeholders and the TMC's; developing a working relationship Provides focus on delivering stakeholder value through robust expense analytics, SLA management, strong communication, and driving results across the firm globally Escalation point for any service related issues and failures including implementing problem solving management to potential high profile issues acting with speed while ensuring route cause analysis is conducted and corrective action plan is put in place Maintain the global travel policy and processes to support their enforcement in the regions Maintain and improve the working Risk Management System for travellers Develop strong internal working relationships with other departments especially Finance Cordant Group is an equal opportunities employer
