Overview
Global Logistics Manager required on a 12-month fixed term contract in Dyce. As a Global Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for managing movement of multi-modal freight in support of business operations. Applicants to this role must have previous experience in Freight Forwarding / Logistics and proven experience with international air, sea and road freight. As a Global Logistics Manager, you will also be responsible for reviewing the performance of Freight Forwarders, couriers, logistics and transport providers. Your duties and responsibilities will include: Managing team members, training, staff performance, holidays & absence. Liaising with external providers and internal customers, worldwide. Manager import / export transactions. Control Freight spend and explore opportunities to reduce costs. This role is well-suited to candidates with a strong freight forwarding / logistics background and proven experience with international air, sea and road freight. Previous line management / supervisory experiences is essential.
