Overview

Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a highly reputable company based near to Fenchurch Street station who are currently seeking a Legal Secretary to join their busy in-house legal department. They are a small and busy in-house legal, regulatory and compliance department going through an expansion period of the business, both in the UK and internationally. All their lawyers joined them from highly regarded law firms and are committed to excellent standards of work and client service. The team supports a wide range of corporate and business activities. Duties and accountabilities: Sole responsibility for secretarial and assistant support for the Legal, Regulatory & Compliance team Manage the Legal team inbox Transcribe and proofread legal documents File, organise, scan and copy legal documents Take meeting minutes and circulate for comments Support Director and team members through diary and email management Use technology to drive efficiency and build up skills in this area Assist in the preparation of Companies House's documentation and file these documents Travel arrangements, process expenses and invoices, meeting arrangements Coordinate and collate information for monthly and quarterly reports and meetings Manage and draft team communications through email and PowerPoint presentations Arrange events for the wider Legal, Regulatory and Compliance team Create good working relationships with the secretarial team Skills, knowledge and experience: The successful candidate will: Experience of working from either, an in-house legal team or experience in supporting a group of lawyers from a law firm Able to transcribe notes taken from dictation Demonstrate proven administrative experience supporting one or more individuals Have excellent written and oral communication skills Show extensive working proficiency with Microsoft Office packages Able to maintain strict confidentiality and act with diplomacy, tact and discretion at all times Knowledge of Blueprint and Companies House websites Ability to shift priorities and multitask in a high - pressure environment Strong proofreading skills Accurate typing speed of at least 60 words per minute Salary of up to £45K DOE plus excellent company benefits Due to the high volume of applications, Lloyd Recruitment Services can only contact shortlisted candidates
