Financial Adviser - Servicing

Eden Scott ,
Edinburgh, City of Edinburgh
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £60000 - £75000 per annum + negotiable, benefits, bonus

Overview

Eden Scott's client is a well respected and growing Professional Practice within the heart of Edinburgh. Due to further growth of the firm and expansion of their already broad client base they seek an additional Wealth Manager to work within their Private Client team. Their vision for 2019 is to bolster their evolving team and rethink their proposition for clients. In the position you would be servicing an already existing client base of primarily HNW clients focussing mainly with Pensions and Investment work in a busy, professional and warm office environment. Whilst not a key focus, you'll prospect and contact potential clients in accordance with the firm’s business plan and supervisor’s guidance to assist in the gentle expansion of the Wealth team. You'll have full and first class Paraplanning support to leave you to provide services to your clients and focus on strengths and share any applicable additional ideas or experience in the industry. You'd also be expected to work within their Compliance framework and ensure your SPS is held at all times along with CPD needs. There are excess clients and also surplus from a previous retirement. To be considered you must hold your Level 4 Diploma and currently hold SPS/CAS status. Ideally your background would be from a whole of market adviser firm, but provider and bancassurance inviduals would be considered - chartered or working towards preferred. There is no requirements to bring your own clients, but they would not be turned away either. You'll be a professional and client focussed individual with a true passion and enthusiasm to provide the absolute best advice and service to your clients as possible - acting as a true embassador for the firm. In return they are offering a highly competitive salary that would be negotiated for the right individual, benefits package, bonus/OTE, along with the chance to join their forward thinking team and acquire clients. Please get in touch as soon as possible to discuss in the strictest of confidence. This is just one of the Advisory roles available for a number of our Edinburgh clients with similar requirements so to have a confidential discussion as to how you can further your career so please call or send your CV direct to Alison Curran.
