Legal Project Manager - City of London - US firm - Legal 500 Our Client is a leading global law firm who are seeking an experienced Legal Project Manager to be based out of their City of London office. This is an exciting opportunity to join a Global Law Firm that is at the forefront of Innovation in the Legal Service Delivery space. You will be joining a successful and established team of Legal Project Management professionals and will be responsible for providing full lifecycle LPM support on some of the firms most valuable and complex legal matters. The role of an LPM is to establish relationships across different practice groups and work with Matter Partners and Clients to effectively provide project management support ensuring legal services are delivered in the most efficient, cost effective and transparent way possible. You will be involved from the initial scoping phase of a matter through to the end result and will work with teams across the firm on areas such as pricing, scoping, budgeting, resource management, technology implementation and process improvement resulting in matters being delivered to client scope, in-budget and increasing the efficiency of associates time. Investment in LPM and Process Improvement Qualifications provided by firm Fast Track Progression with a defined path to move up to the next level Excellent Salary / Benefits Package Key Responsibilities: Building relationships with Partners and Clients to establish engagement with the LPM service Accompanying Partners on pitches acting as the subject expert for LPM in a client facing role Working with Matter Partners and Business Services teams to define the initial scope of Legal Matters and providing oversight to ensure this is delivered as an end result Providing oversight and delivery on areas such as Pricing, Budgeting, Resource Management, Technology Implementation and Process Improvement on Legal Matters Overseeing junior LPM resource and providing support in a mentoring capacity Skills & Requirements: Project management experience is essential and preferably gained in a professional services environment. Some experience of coordinating teams and supporting multi- jurisdictional matters. Experience of implementing work allocation within a department is ideal.
