Marketing Assistant at US Law Firm to £35,000
Overview
Leading US law firm based in stunning City offices is looking to hire an additional team member in to their marketing team – working closely with the Marketing Managers and European Marketing Manager – in this role you will be involved in working across the full range of marketing activities relevant to a leading global law firm including being responsible for assisting with event management, the preparation of pitch presentations and communication materials, maintaining and updating marketing information and experience databases and coordinating the production and distribution of internal and external marketing literature. Duties will include supporting the Senior Marketing Manager and the Marketing Managers (London) in coordinating the development and delivery of pitches and RFP responses using the latest templates and experience; ensuring that the quality of pitch content and credentials is kept at a high level and maintaining the relevant marketing infrastructure and pitch base materials, monitoring case and deals lists and updating relevant databases, managing, coordinating and updating mailing lists in conjunction with the firm’s database team, preparing marketing collateral for lawyers to assist with client development efforts, working collaboratively with marketing colleagues and those in other business services departments, including but not limited to the graphics, web, creative, multimedia, finance and library teams, participating in and supporting the legal directory submission process, preparing and updating online content for the firm’s internal and external sites, maintaining mailing lists, invites and responses in InterAction, organising the production of marketing collateral for events and supporting ad hoc projects as and when required. Applicants need to be degree educated with a minimum 12 months marketing/business development/events experience ideally from a law firm or a professional services/finance environment. Standard hours are 9:30 – 17:30. Applicants need to be PC proficient including MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook.
