About The Role We are currently looking for a new Manager for Fleming Court, a HC-One Flagship care home in the centre of Jesmond in Newcastle. Our focus is on delivering the kindest possible care, with the presence to inspire your team, make our residents feel at home and lead the delivery of five-star services. Fleming Court is a care home with a difference. Beautiful and spacious, it has over 60 bedrooms across four floors, penthouse suites, a restaurant, bar, cinema, sensory garden, bowling green, hair & beauty salon, garden terraces and more. It also has a specialist dementia unit and recently received a great CQC inspection report. One of the best care homes in the region, every aspect of Fleming Court has been designed to provide our residents with a luxurious experience and the highest quality residential care. We are looking for a Manager with a difference. On one hand, you must be service focused and passionate about meeting the diverse needs of our residents. Providing excellent services that make our residents feel special and a level of care that comes from the heart. On the other hand, you’ll need to be business savvy with the drive to maximise occupancy and ensure the success of your home. A true all-rounder, you’ll be able to get the best out of a team of around 70 people and raise the profile of your home by establishing and building strong working relationships with key local stakeholders and local community groups. Ideally, with experience of managing a high-end, private care home, you should have the vision and credibility to meet the demands of our residents and ensure quality in every detail from personalised care plans to a packed programme of activities.
