Overview

uxton Resourcing are recruiting for passionate, committed Residential Support Workers to join a well-established residential home based in Swadlincote. The Residential Home you will be working in will consist of up to five young people between the ages of 11 years to 18 years old. The young people are females who come from a background of child sexual exploitation/sexual abuse and mental health. The young people may demonstrate serious behavioural difficulties. which include regular absconding from placement and other associated risk taking behaviours. We are looking for individuals who are going to give additional support to the young people in raising self-esteem, self-worth, identifying risks and controlling behaviour. You will also assist the young people in opportunities and engage them in activities which will encourage and empower them to have a positive outlook on life. We are currently recruiting for permanent days and waking nights positions however, shift filling roles for as and when are also available Waking nights, 4 on 4 off between the hours of 22:00pm – 08:00am Day shifts, 1 on 2 off between the hours of 08:00am – 22:00pm With the opportunity for additional hours We are looking for individuals with a minimum of 6 months experience in EBD, CSE, learning disability , or challenging behaviour in a similar or relevant setting such as community education or youth work . The Ideal candidate will need to have Hold a qualification in QCF Level 3 Diploma in children and young people qualification or equivalent. Must be a car driver. Hold a current DBS currently on the update service or happy apply for a new one.
