Overview
My client an established fire and security business in London are currently recruiting for a capable Minor Project Engineer to assist them in delivering exciting London centric projects. This is a newly created opportunity to support a growing business with an enviable portfolio of projects. There is really scope for the successful candidate to progress with my client. The role: Installation and commissioning of small, and medium scale projects. Commissioning of fire and security systems. Review of specifications, associated drawings, and documents. Identify and survey any sales opportunities. Completion of engineering reports. Carry out fault finding and diagnosis. Attend pre-booked appointments at times specified. Sit supervision of electrical contractors. Region coverage will be London and parts of the Home Counties. The candidate: Minimum of 5 years fire and security experience. Ideally completed FIA modules 1, 2/3 and 6. Panel experience with Kentec, Advanced and Morley systems. Be able to update and maintain graphical user interfaces. Complete commissioning of systems, including witness testing and client demonstration. Carrying out finding and diagnostics. Benefits package: £32,000 - £34,000 (dependant on experience) Company vehicle Commission.
