Overview
I am delighted to be supporting a Wealth Management firm in London in their search for a Paraplanner. The role will be supporting 2 Financial Advisers and you will provide technical and research support to the Financial Planning team. This is a very hands on role, where you will be attending the client meetings with the Advisers, who typically work with HNW individuals and get involved with some really interesting and complex cases. Role and Responsibilities To provide technical and research support to the Financial Planning team Preparation of advice letters and recommendations Liaising with the Financial Planner and Investment Team to provide recommendations Ensure all recommendations meet with company standards Complete calculations such as carry forward, Lifetime Allowance, Inheritance Tax, CGT etc. Preparation of content for annual review meetings Preparation of cash flow models using Voyant software Assisting with the preparation / review of compliance documentation Attend weekly meetings with both advisers to provide updates on ongoing cases / workload Attendance at conferences and technical seminars to maintain and develop technical knowledge. Ad hoc reviews of processes and systems as required. Investment support Assisting the financial planning administrator as needed. This will involve various tasks such as: o Liaising with clients and product providers o Seeing new business through to completion o LOA research o Dealing with client queries and post meeting tasks o Ensuring the financial planning administrator has all the information needed to prepare new business documentation ahead of meetings.
