Commercial Property Solicitor Bedford Salary depending on experience Full time - Permanent Our client are a progressive, well established firm, offering flexible working in modern, spacious offices. This role is based in Bedford within walking distance of the high street and the station. Job description and required skills An opportunity has arisen within our Commercial Property team for a Senior Commercial Property Solicitor. The workload includes: Advising on all Landlord and Tenant matters with strong covenant tenants. Acquisitions and disposals with average values of £2million; leases with rental yields of £2m per annum, corporate support transactions valued up to £30m; together with a mixture of development work, corporate financing, infrastructure agreements; pension scheme property investments and other commercial property matters. You will be: At least 2 years PQE with a healthy amount of commercial property experience. Experience within agriculture would be ideal. You should have knowledge of landlord and tenant matters and a broader exposure of commercial property transactions generally. The successful applicant will be a dynamic, strong team player, with excellent communication skills and be able to use sound and professional judgement for problem solving; you should enjoy a challenge, but with an awareness of exposure to risk. You will need: Excellent drafting, research and negotiation skills Excellent attention to detail Excellent communication skills Strong IT skills Strong awareness of a variety of social media platforms Good business development skills Salary is commensurate with experience and we offer additional staff benefits including pension, income protection scheme, group life cover, cash plan and 34 days holiday.
