Overview
The Brief: Have you got experience supporting finance software? Whether it's ERP systems, accounting packages - we have an exciting new role in a dedicated application support team. This large multinational business has a fantastic office where their dedicated Finance Systems support team are based. You'll become part of the team that supports their systems and their users with daily tasks, troubleshooting, reporting and projects. You will work in a fast paced and demanding environment where you will become a subject matter expert (training provided) to various teams throughout the UK. The role requirements are spent ensuring that our business applications run smoothly, and that the end users understand how to operate them effectively and efficiently. They've also got an exciting upgrade and new system planned, so you'll have the opportunity to be part of both new systems implementations, migration work, training and support as part of a long term strategy in the business. Key Responsibilities: Provide excellent customer service in all aspects, customer facing, telephone and helpdesk. Support Finance team on resolution of support calls. Work with other In-house development / infrastructure teams Work on customisation of software. Understanding business requirements. Help improve finance business processes. Support the implementation of a new finance solution. Help produce detailed reports for users. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate: Knowledge and experience with financial modules of ERP systems or accounting software. A good understanding of finance process and procedures Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. The ability to establish priorities and realise when issues must be escalated. Excellent attention to detail. Highly organised Strong communication abilities at multiple levels within an organisation Desirable but non-essential requirements Knowledge of software development life cycle Maintain accurate documentation sets and perform knowledge transfer and best practise workshops as required.
