IT Service Desk Operations Engineer (Shift) - Bath, Somerset - up to £30,000 per annum benefits Are you a skilled Service Desk / IT Support Engineer looking for your next challenge? I currently have multiple positions available for talented individuals within IT Support and Service Desk. Working for a leading Software Company specialising in the provision of products to the retail industry you will play a key role in the management and resolution of tickets for my customers diverse client base. This is a great chance to join an expanding and supportive business where you will have the chance to grow yourself and develop within your personal career as they continuously look for people to step up in the business. Skills wise you will have a foundation knowledge of the following areas; 2 years previous IT Support (up to a 2nd line) Experience of Core IT Tech such as DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, Routing & Swtiching etc. Creation and editing of Shell Scripts (BASH, Python etc.) Linux - THIS IS ESSENTIAL Virtualisation tech - VMWare / Hyper-V etc. This role will require 4 on 4 off shift rotations with a yearly bonus of £6,000 for working on shift.
